The show showcased the nuanced artistry of Bhagalpur silk and shared Rajasthani philosophy and the beauty of handmade textiles.

Jaisalmer Crafted Bar Collectables X Samant Chauhan presented a Crafted Bar and special collectibles inspired by the coming together of Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design. At the heart of the collaboration is a shared belief that craft is more than a technique. The collection carries the memory of a place, the skill of its makers and the possibility of reinvention. 

While Samant is known for his extensive work with Bhagalpur’s silk-weaving traditions, and giving them a timeless yet modern form and silhouette, Jaisalmer Crafted Bar Collectible are rooted in a story that begins with botanicals drawn from across India and a gin-making process shaped by traditional distillation.

Samant Chauhan On His Recent Collection

After yesterday's show, Samant Chauhan said a few words about his recent collection. He said “Bhagalpur silk represents a living tradition, sustained by the knowledge and skill of its weaving communities. For me, the opportunity has always been to take this heritage forward without losing sight of its origins. The collaboration with Jaisalmer is an interesting coming together of craft and contemporary design, creating a new context in which Indian craftsmanship can be experienced and appreciated.”

Pavleen Gujral Tunred Showstopper For Samant Chauhan

Pavleen Gujral walked the runway as the showstopper for Samant Chauhan at The Lakmē Fashion Week 2026 in partnership with FDCI. She wore a structured black gown featuring intricate golden embroidery. The Indian actress/ entrepreneur looked beautiful in this gown. Her body language was extremely confident and totally resonated with the show's regal theme. Her outfit highlighted the enduring language of the Bhagalpur silk.

The highlight of the show was the team of Rajasthani classical music players. Their music brought a whole new enthusiasm to the show.
