Radhika Ambani beautifully graced the Ganpati celebrations at Antilia by performing Ganesh Vandana with her Bharatanatyam performance. She wore a stunning red and gold Kanchipuram saree custom-made by Manish Malhotra. It was not your regular six-yard Kanchipuram; Manish pre-stitched the silhouette with structured pleats that opened out as Radhika walked or moved- the one that is worn during Bharatanatyam performances by the artists.
Radhika Ambani's Kanjeevaram Saree Featured Gold Marodi Work
Radhika's saree was draped in a Gujarati-style seedha pallu, with embroidered fabric spread across the front as she performed.
The outfit featured a short-sleeved blouse in the same rich pink, heavily embroidered with gold threadwork. The neckline was framed with rows of fine gold work, and the sleeves featured horizontal bands of embroidery.
Intricate gold floral butis across the broad hem with finished gold embroidery. The large floral patterns with paisley-esque motifs were accentuated with gold marodi embroidery and zarodsi intricate details woven into handwoven silk along with gold zari.
Radhika Ambani Paired Her Saree With Traditional Jewellery
As much as the dance performance or saree grabbed the attention, the jewellery also drew equal attention. Paired with a wide kamarbandh on her waist and a layered kundan necklace featuring rows of stones set in gold, with pear-shaped green emerald drops along the lower edge, styled by Esther Pinto.
The earrings, mathapatti and maang tikka were similarly designed. The look was completed with two stacked bangles on each hand. Flavien Heldt pulled her hair into a sleek bun with decorated flowers. Makeup artist Loveleen Bhandari beautifully adorned Radhika's face with winged eyeliner, rosy blush cheeks, a small bindi and a nude makeup look to doll her up for the Ganpati celebrations at Anitilia.
