Nita Ambani’s Amrapali Necklace Brings Nath, Paasa And South Indian Karigari Together In A Striking Design

Nita Ambani never fails to promote excellent Indian craftsmanship, and her look at the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations did the same. For the occasion, she opted for a vibrant orange and magenta silk saree, but it was her statement necklace that had everyone talking, as it stole the limelight. At first glance, it looked like a heavy and traditional statement necklace, but it had hidden and intricate details that many missed.

What's special about Nita Ambani's necklace?

Nita Ambani looked regal at her Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in a blend of orange, fuchsia pink, and deep magenta silk saree, but her statement necklace stole the show. The necklace covered her neckline, shoulders, and upper bodice. It also had beautiful, intricate detailing with multiple dangling elements.

However, many missed that the necklace had several others tradition jewellery pieces that made it so beautiful and unique. The necklace is an artistic fusion of multiple traditional jewellery pieces brought together as one. As per popular Instagram content creator Vini Bawa, who is a Fashion and Style Decoder, an actual nath (nose ring), a paasa (the traditional side headpiece), an old South Indian necklace, and several other vintage pieces have been attached together to create this one-of-a-kind statement neckpiece.

Nita Ambani also wore beautiful matching round earrings and a chunky diamond ring, and carried an orange polti bag, matching with her saree.

Apart from stunning jewellery pieces, the necklace also features gold jadau work, Polki, diamonds, multi-coloured gemstones and pearls. It is no less than a masterpiece and also a masterclass in Indian heirloom and craftsmanship.

Antilia Cha Raja’s darshan was a star-studded celebration, with Bollywood stars attending for Bappa's arrival. Katrina Kaif dazzled in a classic green Anarkali suit. She styled her Anarkali suit with a heavy, colourful dupatta.

Radhika Merchant, Anant Ambani's wife, beautifully performed Bharatanatyam on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi at Antilia. She made heads turn in a stunning  handwoven Kanjeevaram silk by Manish Malhotra. The saree featured a rich jewel-pink shade woven with gold zari along with antique-gold marodi embroidery and zardozi highlights.
