Maruti Suzuki NEXA presented Manish Malhotra Luxury Prêt 2026 at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI at Taj Palace, New Delhi marking the return aof celebrated designer on the runway after three and half years, to present his menswear collection for Luxury Pret. Sara Ali Khan and Handsome Ayushmann Khurrana turnd showstopper for the latest collection for Manish Malhotra, wallking with absolute grace and confidence, both won hearts with applauses from the audience. The collection showcased a contemporary take on the Indian luxury, and envisioned to take it global with its new collection.

Manish Malhotra's Luxury Prêt Collection at Lakme Fashion Week 2026

The showcase unveiled a fresh interpretation of occasion dressing, where the grandeur of Indian craftsmanship met a more fluid, modern sensibility. Defined by sculpted silhouettes, luminous metallics and intricate detailing, the collection reflected an evolving vision of glamour that is expressive, confident and effortlessly sophisticated.

Manish Malhotra Luxury Prêt 2026 reimagined the language of celebration through a wardrobe that balanced the house's signature opulence with contemporary ease. The runway came alive with elongated silhouettes, cropped jackets, fluid skirts, relaxed tailoring, sweeping layers and distinctive drapes, each exploring the relationship between structure and movement.

A striking interplay of luminous gold, burnished silver and reflective surfaces brought a heightened sense of shine to the collection, while intricate embellishments and considered construction added depth and dimension. Moving beyond conventional occasionwear, the showcase offered a fresh perspective on dressing for modern celebrations, where individuality and personal expression take centre stage.

Sara Ali Khan's Glamourous Balck Corset And Skirt 

The actress Sara Ali Khan beautifully walked the showcase for Manish Malhotra in a sculpted corset-styl bodice, with asymmetrical neckline for a distinctive shape with beautiful floral patterns and embellishments of multicolour gracefully placed on the black base of the top. 

For the bottom Sara carried a matching skirt, flowing and fluid to perfectly soften the strucutred bodice, creating a contrast to make the outfit stand out of all during the evening, making it a perfect must-have for your next luxury party or festive season. 

A sheer drape added another layer of movement, bringing a theatrical quality to the look without taking attention away from the craftsmanship.

For the makeup, Sara kept it sublte with a no-makeup makeup look, with soft nude lip shade, cheeks and sharp winged eyeliner to make a striking and confident appearance.

Sara kept her hair sleek and centre-parted, allowing the outfit to remain the focus. It was a smart styling choice, especially with so much detail already at play.

The overall look wa bold and confident, making Sara the right choice to carry it confidently with skirt, corset blouse, hair and makeup all coming together to make it a dramatic look for the evening.

Ayushmann Khurrana make case for embellished menswear

Ayushmann Khurrana knows how to keep it simple yet win hearts with his charming smile, and last evening at Manish's runway show for Lakme Fashion Week, the star did exactly what was needed in the moment to add a charm to Manish's Luxe Pret collection. 

The actor wore an all-black outfit, featuring a classic black shirt, with tailoured trousers and statement jackets with silver and mettalic embeliishments and ornamental embroidery to perfectly look classy and sophisticated. The detailing spread across the shoulders, lapels and sleeves, giving the otherwise dark outfit a striking finish.

The beauty of the look lay in the balance. The tailoring kept things clean, while the elaborate embroidery did all the talking. Paired with sleek black shoes, the ensemble felt polished without looking predictable.
