Hayden Panettiere appeared on screen when she was only 11 months old. She bagged her full-time acting role in 1994 when she played Sarah Roberts in the ABC soap opera series One Life to Live until 1997. Following this successful role, she worked as a child artiste in many hit shows like Guiding Light, Aliens in the Family, Unhappily Ever After, A Will of Their Own, Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke, Touched by an Angel, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, among others.

The reason behind Panettiere's sudden death has not been disclosed yet. The police are currently investigating the matter.
"It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her -- and to the millions who watched her onscreen," her rep said in a statement to ABC News.

What was Hayden Panettiere’s personal life like?

Hayden Panettiere had faced hardships in her personal life, despite finding success in her career.
She opened up about struggling with postpartum depression in her memoir, revealing that she felt nothing after she met her daughter after intense labour and emergency surgery. "I had to figure out how to bond with her. It felt like an insurmountable task, and I was only on the first day," she said.
She started drinking heavily around four months after giving birth. "The first thing I'd thought of when I woke up was alcohol. Not my child, not my job, and not the rest of my life. I needed a drink to function — at 6 a.m.," she wrote.
The late actress also had a strained and estranged relationship with her mother, Lesley Vogel, a former actress and also her manager and acting coach.
Hayden Panettiere is survived by her 11-year-old daughter.
