Popular singer Kanika Kapoor has announced her separation from her husband Gautam Hathiramani after four years of marriage. She shared this news on her Instagram story but did not reveal the reason behind this decision.
Announcing her separation, Kanika wrote, "Dear friends and family, after much thought and consideration, my husband and I are going our separate ways. I am grateful for the time we shared and wish him well for the future. I sincerely ask for kindness and respect for our privacy as we move forward."

Who is Gautam Hathiramani?

Gautam Hathiramani is a London- and Lagos-based international businessman, Managing Director at Dana Plast Limited, and Deputy Managing Director of the Dana Group. He came to wider public attention as the husband of Kanika Kapoor. 

Kanika and Gautam had known each other nearly 15 years and were close friends before they began their relationship. They married in 2022 in London. Kanika once shared that she asked Gautam to marry her twice, first in 2014 and then again in 2020. Gautam later proposed to her in August 2021. 

The singer was earlier married to businessman Raj Chandok, with whom she shares three children: daughters Aayana and Samara, and son Yuvraaj. They tied the knot in 1998 when she was only 18 and divorced in 2012.

Kanika became popular with her breakthrough song Baby Doll from Sunny Leone's film Ragini MMS 2 in 2014. She later sang Lovely, Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan from Roy, Desi Look, Da Da Dasse and many more and all of them became chartbuster.
