As someone who was into science, Ishita's love for molecules is evident in her work. She's always been fascinated by the intricacies of scents and the impact they have on our lives. But what sets her apart is her ability to merge creativity and technical expertise. Having completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering, MBA in Marketing, and expertise course in perfumery, Ishita said that her journey was all about molecules, marketing, and musk.

All About Perfumes

“Perfumes have a story to tell and they add to your persona,” said Ishita. She learned perfumery at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France and learned from and with the experts there, which is where ‘Fonzie Folksy’ was born. Ishita shared that her love for scents isn’t something she developed but it was there for as long as she can remember it.

Ishita shared that Fonzie from the brand’s name was inspired by a fun ‘Fonzie’ character in an English show which adds the fun element to the brand and Folksy was about finding the tribe of people who are immersed in their perfume journey.
