1. Sense And Sensibility

Sense And Sensibility follows three sisters who experience love and heartbreak after they're forced to leave their family estate with their widowed mother and move to a humble cottage. The movie will release in theatres on October 30, 2026. It is based on the popular 1811 novel by Jane Austen. The film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Esmé Creed-Miles, Caitríona Balfe, Frank Dillane, Herbert Nordrum, George MacKay, and Fiona Shaw.

2. Carrie

Carrie follows a sheltered girl with telekinetic powers who is bullied. This leads to a horrific, bloody incident due to her domineering mother's influence. It is based on the 1974 novel by Stephen King and will release on Prime Video on October 7. The series is developed by Mike Flanagan, known for The Life of Chuck, The Haunting of Hill House, among others.

3. Other Mommy

Other Mommy follows Bela, an eight-year-old girl living in a home with marital problems, as she confronts a sinister entity that comes out of her closet. The presence, whom she calls "Other Mommy," becomes increasingly threatening to her and her family. It is based on the 2024 novel Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman. The film will release on October 9 in theatres.

4. Perfect Liars

Perfect Liars is based on the hit Wattpad novel by Alex Mírez. The story follows Jude Derry, who infiltrates the elite Tagus University to investigate her brother's death by targeting the powerful Cash brothers. It will release on Prime Video on November 20, 2026.

5. Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice is an adaptation of the Jane Austen novel of the same name. Dolly Alderton, who is known for her memoir Everything I Know About Love, wrote the series, and it is directed by Euros Lyn. The series will release on Netflix for December 3, 2026.

6. Unaccustomed Earth

Unaccustomed Earth is an adaptation of Jhumpa Lahiri's acclaimed short story collection. The story follows Parul Chaudhury, a wife and mother who gave up her college first love to honor her father's wishes. After receiving a life-changing cancer diagnosis, she moves her family from India back to Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts. The series will release on Netflix on December 17.

7. Guarding Stars

Guarding Stars is based on the novel The Bodyguard by Katherine Center. Starring Leighton Meester and Jared Padalecki, the movie follows a no-nonsense bodyguard assigned to protect a charming action star over the holidays. It will release on Netflix on November 18, 2026.
