Zendaya's Red Carpet Fashion Decode: Channelling Goddess Athena In Sculptural Matières Fécales Look At 'The Odyssey' NYC Premiere

Zendaya, a Hollywood celebrity, is now set to reveal the grand finale of her unique method of dressing strategy in honour of Christopher Nolan's film The Odyssey. Walking down the red carpet at the premiere in New York City, Zendaya portrayed herself as the ancient Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena, in the film. Combining both classical mythology and modern fashion, Zendaya partnered with her trusted stylist and creative director, Law Roach, in choosing an off-the-wall fashion statement for Greek clothes. Instead of choosing traditional clothing, Zendaya chose a bold creation from the French fashion label Matières Fécales. The ivory outfit featured an avant-garde micro-pleated corset dress silhouette along with a thigh slit and huge raw-cut feathered wings.

Zendaya’s Styling

The styling of her dress was equally mesmerising as that of a goddess. Her make-up was kept minimal and elegant, which helped bring out the beauty of the dress even more. Also, she has done nude make-up, body glitter, rosy cheeks, contour highlight, defined eyebrows, a bit of mascara, pink lips, and a dewy base.

She opted for a fairytale-style effortless braid running through her back. Overall, the dress was completed with her white high heels and Chopard earrings from the Haute Joaillerie collection.

Zendaya’s The Odyssey Press Tour Latest Looks

The American Hollywood actress Zendaya has been grabbing the attention of people worldwide by showcasing herself in different couture outfits that have been chosen especially for her promotional tour.

Givenchy 

Zendaya wore an ivory-coloured Givenchy Haute Couture Spring 1997 design in Paris on July 7. The outfit made its debut on Debra Shaw and was designed by Alexander McQueen. It has a bold shoulder design instead of flowing dresses, along with dramatic sleeves that flow over Zendaya’s arms. The mask she wears was also showcased in the show and designed by Philip Treacy, reflecting the Eiffel Tower behind her.

Schiaparelli

Zendaya wore Daniel Roseberry’s final design from his Schiaparelli Fall 2026 Couture show, which took place on July 6 in Paris, on that very same day in London. Her gown has a silicone cast bodice and glittering, illuminated skirt, turning her into a contemporary sculpture. To complete her outfit, she opted for diamonds by Chopard and Louboutin heels and braided her mane.

Louis Vuitton

She goes for the Paris screening of the movie at the theatre on July 8; the dress is from Louis Vuitton and has cut-outs, ruffle sleeves, lace details, and a high-leg slit. The actress even chose matching pumps to complete the look.
