The third day of Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI was a dazzling display, with the fashion showcases being even bigger and better. Designers like Pankaj & Nidhi, Payal Jain, Mahima Mahajan, Ashish N Soni, and others, presented their collections with stunning celebrity showstoppers, from Tabu to Mrunal Thakur, showcasing their latest creations.

Starting the day off was actor-singer Kavya Trehan who strutted down the runway for Esse label's 'Threads in Motion' collection by talented designer duo Sahib Dang and Sunayana Sahni Malhotra. The collection note stated, "Threads in Motion unravels the anatomy of a knit; each loop, each knot, a silent storyteller. Inspired by the intricate language of indigenous Indian crafts, the collection weaves together tradition and modernity. Born from midnight creativity and morning grind, it celebrates the space between imagination and intention."

Kavya donned a stunning, figure-hugging skirt with a tantalising slit and a black form-fitting top. Her minimal makeup and sleek hairdo completed the look.

Kritika Murarka's collection drew inspiration from the intricate artistry of Mata Ortiz pottery. "Translating its geometric motifs, fluid bird figures and earthy patterns into contemporary textiles, the line reimagines heritage craft in modern silhouettes," the post read, adding that the collection is crafted in silks and cottons, featuring bold stripes, checks and hand-drawn prints.

Presenting her collection, 'Vantage', designer Richa Khemka had Sahher Bambba, Bollywood's newest star, closing the show. The collection was inspired by the energy of the sky and sea as well as the layers of nature and its landscapes. Rich velvets and sheer organza, two diametrically opposite textures, were the basis of the garments.

Sahher wore a striking white bodycon creation with an innovative, black draped skirt. She accessorised the outfit with black heels and a layered, delicate necklace. For makeup, she chose rosy hues and styled her hair in a tousled, wavy updo.

Next up were Nikita Mhaisalkar and Mahima Mahajan who brought a touch of glitz and glamour to the showcase. Nikita's collection titled 'Beyond' was inspired by the cosmos, galaxies, starbursts, and constellations. While Sahil Salathia opened the show in relaxed trousers, a cowl neck blouson, and a shimmering trench coat, Shalini Passi brought the glittering show to an end as she sported a velvet and sheer fishtail gown with shimmering halter straps.

Lakmé Salon x Itrh showcased their collection 'Noor', inspired by the radiance of an Indian bride adorned in timeless Jadau jewels, draped in silks, as she takes seven steps around the sacred Agni, where tradition meets eternal grace. Tabu turned showstopper in a gorgeous emerald green gown, featuring intricate embellishments, with her pallu draped in the front. She paired it with heavy jewellery, including dangling earrings and a maang tikka.

Inspired by the stylish French men and women and their effortless, impeccable sense of fashion, Payal's many years in Paris were translated on the ramp this season. Making an entry on the ramp to start the Parisian showcase, content creator Nitibha Kaul looked stylish in an all-white embroidered look, comprising pants, a bikini top, teamed with a crocheted shawl and matching overlay. To close the show, Mandira Bedi brought her infectious energy to the ramp as she glided in, wearing a white, heavily embellished gown and a sheer long scarf that trailed behind her.

R|ELAN x Ashish Soni invited the audience to imagine an evening at the Grand Budapest Hotel, an opulent gathering where black-tie refinement met modern sculpture. "In this collection, black is more than a colour: it is atmosphere. Sculptural jackets, fluid gowns and sweeping trousers play with texture and shadow, revealing depth and contrast," the collection note stated.
