No matter what our size is, how tall or short we are, 'saree sab par jachti hai'. This nine-yard or six-yard wonder can be given a twist as well when it comes to draping them. Here is actress Taapsee Pannu who has a new found love for this elegant Indianwear and her Instagram is brimming with it! She has been experimenting with her looks in a saree and we could not help but share it with our saree lovers reading HerZindagi so often. So without further adieu, here are some looks that she nailed and we believe so can you with the right kind of attitude!
She looks truly amazing in this Paithani blue silk saree with an orange border. A Gaurang Shah creation, Taapsee wore this six yard drape during the promotions of her film "Mission Mangal".
Block Print Saree
This is a hand block printed saree that Pannu opted for, created by Urvashi Kaur. She has draped it with a handwoven khadi kurta and she looks amazing! The blouse here was a long kurta which was the star of the outfit! A quirky way for sure but you and I both can try it! What say? For her hair, she got a center-parted low bun made which gave the ensemble a desi touch. For the jewellery, silver trinkets are what you need. In terms of the makeup, Taapsee here has opted for soft smokey eyes, natural base and neutral lip.
Pop Coloured Chiffon
Doesn't she look super sassy in this one? This pop coloured drape is amazing especially when draped with a high neck sleevless white top! For the hair she went nuts with braids and bun which totally jazz up the ensemble.

During the promotions of "Mission Mangal", Taapsee Pannu opted for a silk handwoven number by Latha Puttanna pairing it up with an organza blouse by the same brand. The saree consists of hues of green, brown and pink that look so good together although it is an unusual combination.
She further accessorised the look with pink statement hoops that gave a modern touch to the saree. For her hair, she kept it natural which are basically her curls pinned in a simple half-up, half-down hairstyle. Her makeup looks rather simple as she chose a neutral colour palette with a flawless base, soft pink lips and blushed cheeks.

This one is a concept saree she wore for Nikasha ad which makes for a perfect blend of Indian and western wear. For the blouse, she wore a long printed top with ruffled sleeves with embroidery around the neckline. She styled it with matching dhoti pants that cropped around her ankles.
With this, she draped a bright yellow dupatta that was draped around her body like a saree, but the dupatta had motifs made on it in gold foil work. For the jewellery she chose gold dangle earrings and a cuff to go with it.
For the hairstyle, Taapsee had pulled her black locks in a center-parted braided bun and for the makeup, we see soft smokey eyes and brown lips with traditional jutties on her feet.
