The trendy mother who must have been quite busy with the preparations still managed to look resplendent and put up quite a show all throughout the wedding festivities. The Pre-Wedding Ceremony Look

The pre-wedding ceremony was held at The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur where many big stars and eminent personalities like Hillary Clinton were invited. Bollywood celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Abhishek Bachchan were not only present but also danced away to many hit numbers. But the icing on the cake was the entire Ambani clan’s performance. For this event, Nita Ambani wore a golden lehenga and draped a heavily embroidered purple dupatta – an ensemble which was designed by none other than Manish Malhotra himself. She accessorised it with diamond jewellery while her makeup was done by celebrity artist Mickey Contractor.
The Sangeet Look

Manish Malhotra scored big yet again by designing another vibrant lehenga for the queen bee Nita Ambani for the sangeet ceremony. Her traditional leheriya dupatta and royal jewellery added a festive look to the ensemble.

The Wedding Day Look

Nita Ambani was styled by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla for her daughter Isha Ambani’s wedding day. The designer duo even picked up Nita’s wedding day saree and incorporated it into her daughter’s bridal trousseau, making it all the more special. The gold and pink georgette ghagra worn by the bride’s mother was hand embroidered in fine chikankari with mukaish and marodi work done with crystals and tamba sequins. The pink dupatta was made of tulle fabric with intricate jaali work making the entire outfit look out of this world.
The Wedding Reception Look

Another elaborate outfit was seen on Nita Ambani as she hosted a grand reception. Mother and daughter wore custom velvet lehengas from designer Sabyasachi’s zardosi revival series. The lehengas had silver, salma-sitara, dabka and bullion work done all over. Nita again look stunning in the colour purple while it was a shade of wine red for the bride Isha Ambani. The entire look was kept very traditional, reviving the purist looks of yore.
