There was a high-tea celebration held for the 60th birthday of Shloka Mehta’s mother, Mona Mehta, this weekend. Nita showed up to the event in a vibrant, timeless saree. While people loved Nita’s beautiful outfit for the occasion, her giant Brazilian Paraíba necklace was the talk of the town. She wore a grand Brazilian Paraíba tourmaline necklace from her personal collection. The extremely rare gemstone was set in a long necklace and was encrusted with blinding diamonds. According to jewellery influencer Julia Chafe (@juliachafe), the Brazilian Paraíba Nita Ambani has one that looks to be over 20 carats.

What makes this Brazilian Paraíba tourmaline so rare is its neon blue-green hue, which is caused by traces of copper. They are known to be one of the most coveted gemstones in the jewellery world. This also makes them a must-have for jewellery lovers and collectors.

Nita Ambani’s Outfit For Mona Mehta’s High Tea Celebrations 

While her Brazilian Paraíba tourmaline had everyone doing a double take, Nita’s ensemble for the night was also opulent. Nita was seen wearing a vibrant saree with intricate prints all over her outfit. She wore a silk chiffon saree with a cream base, which was decked with colourful flowers.
