First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS), Melania Trump is keeping it simple and sleek on the second day of her India visit. She reached the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi for the ceremonial welcome of her husband, US President Donald Trump dressed in a white midi-dress by Carolina Herrera. On the main leg of this 36-hour long India visit, she made everyone's head turn in that elegant outfit, with red, blue and yellow lotus prints.

Donning the beautiful ensemble, which reportedly cost around Rs Rs 1,15,265 (GBP 1,241), she visited a few locations other than the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the national capital, including the Rajghat and the Hyderabad House for restricted and delegation-level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Donald Trump.

The first lady accessorised her white-collar dress with a plain red belt and white pointed-toe pumps. She kept her makeup minimal while playing around with neutral shades. Nude lips and nominal eye makeup complemented her look. She carried her usual effortless hairstyle, straight hair with little bangs covering her forehead.

Seems like Melania Trump is adamant about giving us major fashion goals with her white couture. She wore a chic white jumpsuit by Atelier Caito For Herve Pierre on the first day. However, it was her beautiful knotted belt that caught everyone’s attention, which also had a desi connection. The dark green belt with gold detailing is crafted from treads of an Indian textile document, revealed French-American designer, Herve Pierre, taking to his Instagram.

The ace designer also disclosed that the first lady also owns the same jumpsuit in different colour variant. But, she specifically asked the outfit to be made in white for her visit to India. “Arriving in India the First Lady, @flotus is wearing a jumpsuit @atelier_caito_for_herve_pierre , she owns it in black and asked to have it made in crème for her State Visit in India! It was a great idea !!!!! @herve_pierre_creative_director,” wrote Pierre in another Instagram post.
