A handsome couple for sure, Ranveer and Deepika looked ethereal at their Mumbai Wedding Reception and thanks to them, we are prepping for the wedding functions we have to attend this winter as well. Don't forget we have Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas too who will be getting married on December 2 in a lavish wedding ceremony at Jodhpur's extravagant Umaid Bhavan Palace.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh hosted the grand reception for their friends in Mumbai. We know how energetic Ranveer is an has been at his wedding functions. However, the reception saw him displaying his quirky side, as we saw at his sister Ritika’s bash, earlier in the week. At the Mumbai reception, after greeting all their guests, Ranveer was seen dancing. He was spotted near the DJ’s console, checking out tracks on the laptop and selecting his favourites, by artistes like Jason Derulo and Robbie Williams. The groom had a blast while he danced the night away!
The couple thankfully broke away from their Sabyasachi tradition and wore stunning ensembles by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, and Rohit Bal, respectively. The offwhite and golden colour ombination looked super traditional and royal in the glimmering outfits.

At Ritika’s informal bash, Ranveer expressed his love for Deepika and said that he had married the ‘most beautiful girl in the world’. At the reception, too, Ranveer can be seen kissing his wife’s hand.

Even as the much in love couple arrived at the reception venue, many among the waiting press started to call out to them, addressing Deepika as ‘bhabhiji’. In video clips that are all over the Internet, at one point onstage, just as someone calls her so, Ranveer is beside himself with laughter.

Meanwhile, the food was amazing! It was lavish and how. Starting from Malabari, Mughlai (biryani), Punjabi (makki ki roti-sarson saag) to Italian, Chinese and Middle Eastern (shawarma), all grabbed attention. In desserts, the options would give you a sugar rush. It varied from gajar ka halwa, rasmalai to chocolates and brownies.
