Another occasion that served looks that were to die for was the pre-Oscars dinner that was slayed big time by our dearest Jacqueline Fernandez who wowed us like cray in her all aubergine fit from a homegrown Indian brand called Qbik official. The statement pushup cut-out top with the power suit was an epic fashion moment. The look was accessorised just right with an hourglass bag from Balenciaga, a pair of bedazzled footwear by designer Amina Muaddi and adornments featuring a ring and earrings from the house of Kamal Beverly Hills.

The Oscars saw Indians winning and bringing laurels home like pros. But, that is not all that they did. They aced their fashion games while scoring the wins. The producer and director of the short documentary, The Elephant Whisperers Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga wowed us with their looks. Guneet Monga was dressed in an Indian essential saree with elephant motifs that added magic to her fit. Kartiki Gonsalves on the other hand looked ever-so-glam dressed in a Rahul Mishra grey gown fit. Ram haran and his wifey, Upasana looked like the It couple dressed to the T. Ram Charan wore a black bandhgala from Nikita Jaisinghani and Upasana featured a saree not sorry look from Jayanti Reddy label and jewels from the house of Bina Goenka. Jr. NTR sported a signature black Gaurav Gupta outfit with a tiger motif on the shoulder. The outfit was essentially a representation and an ode to the movie, RRR and India.
