With the wedding season on, we have so many options but we want to stand out with whatever we wear. Stunning is the word that we want people to say out loud when we take so much pain to get ready, spending time on the makeup, hair, hygiene, nails, drapes and what not. So this time I am taking hold of the colour golden in sarees and showing different ways celebs have flaunted them. So here we go, take inspo from their hair, makeup, blouse mix and match.
Rekha
Look like a golden goddess like Rekha, This saree combo would look great if you are attending a wedding of some near and dear ones only. Be a bit subtle with the jewellery but don't go bare as it is all plain. A long or statement pendant necklace like Rekha works and so do some simple bangles. The element of red plays a big role here as it breaks the monotony of the golden dosage. Go for subtle eye makeup but a red pout would do wonders.
Dia Mirza
This saree is dusty golden which Dia has worn with a matching blouse. Her game here is that of the silver jewellery with hints of maroon. and subtle makeup. This would be good if it is a sober function.
Mouni Roy

This one is more net. Mouni looks gorgeous in this saree which would look great in a day time mehendi or wedding function. More on the yellow side, this look can be completed with some subtle makeup. If you get a blouse like this made which is full sleeves and has heavy work then a choker is enough for the jewellery.

Madhuri looks amazing in this Manish Malhotra golden saree. Now this is all studded and glittery and would look great with a red pout. You can wear this with a dull golden blouse or a white one. Accessorise with a red rose in your hair for the wedding.

A gilded golden saree by Manish Malhotra would be a bit heavy but would steal the limelight at any function. Go really easy with the makeup. Try a no-makeup makeup look.

Rekha's Drape

This one is epic as it is not just the saree but the drape that stands out. The Instagram handle shared a bit on the saree's history. The saree is a Chaugoshiya form of draping a saree that is over 150 years old. It comprises Chau or four garments - a choli (tight blouse), a Kurti (loose tunic) a tight pajama (pants) and a five-meter khadi dupatta that is draped in a special way. This style is native to the women of Nizam's #Hyderabad. The black and white pic is that of Queen of HRH Nizam VII, Hyderabad (19th century).
