Notably, six Miss Worlds have made India proud at the international stage including the likes of Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000) and most recently Manushi Chillar who bagged the blue crown in 2017, seventeen years after the ‘Quantico’ actress had brought home the honour for India.
