More than gold, people have started focussing on their silver jewellery collection. From tribal finish pieces to oxidised traditional designs in chunky or delicate look, there is something for everyone in the market. There are so many individuals who are selling silver lookalike jewellery wherein there is a silver coating on brass. They cost way less than pure silver and look authentic. But silver metal itself has become something everyone wants to possess. It makes you look more artistic and earthy. I am talking not just about people like you and I but also celebs who have been posting many pictures on their respective Instagrams. Be it Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Dia Mirza, Taapsee Pannu or Sonakshi Sinha. Their collections are beautiful. So here are a few of them that I thought would inspire you to update your own collection, be it earrings, neckpieces, maang tikkas or handcuffs. Scroll down and feast your eyes.
Sonakshi Sinha's Neckpiece & Earrings
A beautiful necklace worn by Sonakshi Sinha here! Woven together with thread, matching her outfit, the neckpiece is stunning! Worn with a saree and shrug, this ornament is definitely worth taking inspiration from. Generally, when we wear a statement necklace we go easy on the earrings which Sona has but it itself is a beautiful piece that is in the shape of a chandelier.
Taapsee's Jhumkas & Ring
The 3D ring and simple bu pretty jhumkas are looking perfect with the kalamkari saree that Taapsee wore. She has complemented her look with the perfect sized pieces as the saree here was doing the talking. If you wear a printed saree like that, then keep it easy on your jewels. If you really want to wear heavy jhumkas then you can also skip the ring. It all depends upon how you carry it.
Alia Bhatt's Jhumkas & Maang Tikka
In the film Kalank, the story might not have clicked with us but every frame was beautiful. The actors looked lovely in their get-ups and that includes Alia Bhatt's stunning outfits and jewellery. With this mirror finished ethnic outfit, Alia wore small jhumkas with a two-tiered maang tikka. Her clip-on nose pin looked pretty as well but if you have a pierced nose, then too there are so many options in the market.
Kareena's Coin & Dholki Necklace
When I saw Kareena Kapoor's pictures in this look, I was so inspired to get a necklace like that! She wore white and a blue shrug and matched it with silver which we can also call a fusion look. The huge statement pendant and the big coins woven together with dholki beads looked very tribal yet classy. She gave a miss to the earrings or any other jewellery piece for that matter.
Dia Mirza's Jhumkis & Handcuff
Definitely an Anita Dongre ensemble, Dia Mirza is as it is so beautiful in reel and real life that these jewellery pieces and outfit put together look stunning! She skipped a neckpiece as the kurta already has so much work in the front, but wore a chunky handcuff with cut out work, with closed chandelier jhumkis which must be heavy.
Vidya's Contrast Beaded Jhumkas
Only Vidya can carry off a fusion look like this where she is wearing a bandhini finished outfit and huge diety jhumkas. The earrings have a touch of teal coloured beads which are definitely grabbing attention which is not at all OTT.
