At 64, Rekha is giving chic style goals to leading actors of today’s time. She ditched her usual saree look and opted for an uber stylish avatar at the calendar launch of celebrity photographer, Dabboo Ratnani. Every year, top celebs grace this event in Mumbai, which features the dramatic creativity of capturing shots in a most stylish manner.
Epitome of fashion, Rekha, was seen sporting a black pullover with matching calve-length leggings and a black stole. She completed her entire look with sassy cat-eye shades and studded boots. We simply loved her. Didn’t we? Rekha, who is often seen doing traditional hairstyles, opted for a side bun. And like always, her love for bold lip was equally evident.
This time, it was quite a shocker to most of her fans, witnessing this all-new glam look of hers. Her all-black outfit looked apt for the star-studded event. She was seen posing for the shutterbugs with Vidya Balan and Tiger Shroff. This Bollywood diva can still give contemporary actors a run for their money. Be it kanjeevaram saris or turbans, the timeless beauty has lent her own signature touch to the fashion staples. Back in her younger days, Rekha has been experimental with her looks, be it sporting a curly bob, winged eyeliner or rocking turbans with accessories. She has proved, age is just a number and nothing else.
On the contrary, her love for wearing traditional kanjeevaram sarees is out in open. She always decks up in traditional sarees, be it an award ceremony or a regular function, Rekha is seen draped in the six-yard wonder. However, she threw a ball of surprise at us as she switched to a new avatar.
Rekha has started experimenting with western outfits of late. She reminds us of her character of Madame Maya from ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’. Do you remember? Earlier, she was spotted in ripped denims, a black overcoat and her hair covered in a black cap at the screening of ‘Kaabil’. Like always, dark shades and red lips completed her chic look. Is she no longer into wearing sarees? Not that she has forgotten her sarees. She wore her signature gold and white saree at Randhir Kapoor's 70th birthday bash and Neil Nitin Mukesh's wedding reception. Just a reminder.
