Alia Bhatt Puts A Festive Spin On Linen Saree With Heavily Embroidered Blouse At Ramayana Screening

As the release date of Ramayana approaches, the makers hosted a grand screening in Mumbai for the film industry. Alia Bhatt also arrived on the red carpet to support the film and Ranbir Kapoor, turning heads in a beautiful bluish-green saree.

What did Alia Bhatt wear at the Ramayana screening?

Alia Bhatt's saree, which is called the Gumal linen saree, is from the shelves of Anavila and is worth Rs 14,500. It is crafted from classic chambray linen in a blue-green shade, featuring detailed selvedge in a mix of zari and a contrast-colour blue border. The blouse was a showstopper of the entire outfit, featuring heavy embroidery, a halter-neck design, and a backless silhouette.

Posting about Alia's look, her stylist Rhea Kapoor wrote, "Alia Bhatt wears a raw silver blouse by Rimple and Harpreet, designed by Rah Jewels, with a pure linen saree by the exquisite Anavila for the Ramayana Screening"

To accessorise the saree, she wore artisanal earrings from Rhea's mother Sunita Kapoor's personal collection. She left her hair open and wavy with a centre parting, and for makeup, she chose glittery pink eyeshadow, kohl-lined eyes, glossy lip shade, and pink cheeks.

Alia has been catching attention with her stunning looks at recent events. She made heads turn in hold banarasi jacket from Mayyur Girotra Couture, which features a mandarin collar, a deep V neckline and a row of dark blue stone buttons running down the front, with a slit at the bottom. The brocade carries a faint floral weave in the same gold, so the pattern only shows when the light hits it. The cuffs are the one place where the work gets heavy, covered in zari and sequin embroidery.
