On April 30, 2025, The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) officially declared the results for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 examinations. The 2025 result announcement marked another year of excellence with a combined pass percentage reflecting great numbers across regions. As candidates exhibited consistency, excellence, and dedication nationwide, the schools and parents celebrated the outcome.
Sambhavi Jaiswal Tops India In ICSE With 100%
In a groundbreaking academic achievement, Sambhavi Jaiswal of Loyola School Jamshedpur bags a flawless 100% as she emerged as the national ICSE topper. Her hard work brought pride to her school, parents, and city, while setting a benchmark at the national level.
Close behind are Prachi Sinha and Shaunak Gorai, both securing 97.8%, while Ashraw Gupta and Kanav Chaudhary shared third rank with 97.6%.
Students at Loyola School showcased great academic dedication this year with Tannishtha Chatterjee of class 12th (Arts stream) securing 99.00% in ISC. In Science, Anushka Singh emerged as the topper securing 98.75% marks while Varija Upadhyaya and Asmita Kar shared first position securing 96.25%.

This year, 99,551 students appeared for the ISC (Class 12) exams, with 98,578 passing, resulting in an impressive 99.02% pass rate. Girls outperformed boys, achieving marks of 99.45% compared to 98.64%. Similarly, in the ICSE (Class 10) exams, girls excelled with 99.37% marks, surpassing the boys' pass rate of 98.84%.
