Television actor Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, known as Vibhu Raghave, died on June 2, 2025, after fighting stage four colon cancer. The well-known actor appeared in popular TV shows like ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’, ‘Suvreen Guggal’, and ‘Rhythm’. He found out he had cancer in 2022.
Vibhu Raghave’s Fight Against Cancer
Raghave got treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai after he learned about his cancer. Fellow actors Kaveri Priyam and Karan Veer Mehra told fans about his death through social media posts.

The actor talked openly with his fans about having cancer during his treatment. In his latest updates, Raghave explained how serious his sickness had become. The cancer had spread to many parts of his body, including his liver, spine, bones, and lungs.
"It was shocking. I was worried for a few days… but the only treatment right now is chemotherapy. Everything is going well now. Chemotherapy will shrink it," Raghave had said in a recent video. Even when things were hard, he stayed hopeful and strong.

TV Friends Remember Him
Actor Addite Malik, who was very close to Raghave, wrote a message on her Instagram. Her post talked about what kind of person he was and how much he meant to everyone around him.
"The purest soul, a beacon of strength & positivity. His smile could light up any room & his presence alone made everything feel better. He faced life with unmatched grace & left behind a love that will never fade. He will be deeply missed. Always," Malik wrote about her friend.
Vibhu Raghave Funeral Details & Family
Malik also shared information about the funeral service so people who knew Raghave could come and say goodbye. The funeral started at 1 PM from 11, Relief Road, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400047.
"We invite all those who knew & loved him to join us in honouring his life & bidding him a peaceful farewell. Funeral Procession: 11. Relief Rood, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400047. 1 PM Onwards. (Mother) Anupama Raghav (Father), Late Ravindra Kumar Singh (Brother), Aishwarya Raghave (Sister), Garima Singh Tyagi," the note read.

Raghave leaves behind his mother, Anupama Raghav, brother Aishwarya Raghave, and sister Garima Singh Tyagi. His father, Ravindra Kumar Singh, had died earlier.

Simple Kaul, another close friend from TV, shared Malik's post and wrote "Aum Namah Shivay" to show her respect.
His friends kept trying to help even until his last days. Just one week before he died, on May 27, Simple Kaul, Addite Malik, and other friends asked people for money one more time through social media.
"Hello everyone ! A little update about our friend Vibhu @vibhuzinsta who's been our friend , coactor and our Co worker in our restaurants. He's been more than a family to us . He's still batteling with 4 th stage cancer in Nanavati hospital since last two weeks. It's been an overwhelming journey for all of us to see him go through this . He's fighting it bravely . We have exhausted our funds and We need immediate funds to save him . Pls pray for his recovery & do contribute whatever you can for his hospital treatment. Your wishes and prayers have helped us earlier too . Thankyou for immense love and prayers," they wrote.
