Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married on April 14, 2022, in a not-so-lavish regular Bollywood wedding but in their Kapoor house after dating for five years. The couple announced in June the same year that they will soon become parents.

On November 6, the couple welcomed their baby girl. "And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here...and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - Blessed and obsessed parents!!!! Love love love Alia and Ranbir,” wrote Bhatt on social media as she shared the news. And a year after that, we are celebrating Raha's first birthday. The little munchkin has turned around the world of her parents.

However, it is on Christmas 2023 that the couple decided to show Raha's face to the paps. The actor were celebrating holidays with their little one in Mumbai when they came out her. Ranbir was holding Raha in his arms, while Alia look ravishing in short dress featuring cape sleeves.

Ranbir Kapoor Talks About Alia’s Labour Room Experience

Kapoor rated himself a perfect seven as a father on a scale of one to seven when he was asked to grade himself on a chat show. In a conversation with the interviewer, he was also asked about his time in the delivery room and his first impression of holding his daughter. In response, he said that he had the chance to hold Raha just after she was born after the umbilical cord had been severed, and that moment will always be ingrained in his mind. When Bhatt hugged Raha close to her neck and chest for the first time, it was a lovely moment for him to see her and Bhatt together.

Kapoor says the love he has for daughter Raha is unmatched by any person or film he's done. In a recent interview, Kapoor also said that as a father, he wouldn't mind putting on weight if he weren't an actor. The 'amount of excitement and gratitude' that Kapoor feels about having her in his life, anything 'be it any person, any movie, or anything professionally,' he added, does not even come anywhere close. He even said that he is 'scared to talk about' his love for her.

Ranbir Kapoor On Dealing With His Father’s Loss and Raha’s Birth

“The biggest thing that happens in an individual’s life is when you lose one of your parents. That really is something… Especially when you’re nearing your 40s, that’s the time when something like this usually happens… Nothing prepares you for that, but it brings the family closer. It makes you understand life,” Kapoor told PTI in an interview.
