Swathi Reddy-Srikanth Nagothi Love Story: How Her Big Comeback Lead To Wedding Bells

Telugu actress Swathu Reddy, also called Colours Swathi by her fans, surprised everyone by announcing her wedding to the filmmaker Srikanth Nagothi. The rumours around their relationship began in 2023, but the couple remained tight lipped. They announced their wedding through Instagram, and it seemed like they ditched a lavish wedding for an intimate ceremony.

How Did Swathi Reddy and Srikanth Nagothi's Love Story Begin?

Swathi and Srikanth first met on the sets of the 2023 film 'Month Of Madhu'. This was a big comeback film for Swathi, and Srikanth served as the film's director. The two became good friends while working on the film, and their friendship soon turned into love.

They remained hush-hush about their relationship despite the rumours circulating on social media. However, on July 8, the couple surprised their fans by announcing their wedding. In a joint post on Instagram, they wrote, "Hitched. 08-07-2026."

Several celebrities extended their best wishes after getting to know about their wedding. Sai Durgha Tej wrote, "Congratulations ra Swathi gaduuuuuu." Naveen Chandra, who was Swathi's co-star in Month Of Madhu, commented, "Broooo congratulations."

Lakshmi Manchu, filmmaker Nandini Reddy, Jahnavi Dasetty, Raja Sekhar Mamidanna, Indrajith Sukumaran and several other celebrities congratulated the newly married couple.

Swathi first gained fame at the age of 17 after she hosted a show called 'Colours' and did over 150 episodes. She has worked in popular movies like Subramaniapuram, Astha Chamma, Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule, Swamy Ra Ra, Amen, Karthikeya, Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, among others. For Astha Chamma, she even won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress and the Nandi Award for Best Actress.

Apart from acting and hosting, she has also worked as a dubbing artist and did playback singing in a few films.

Who Was Swathi Reddy's Ex-Husband?

Swathi was earlier married to Vikas Vasu, a Malayali pilot. They tied the knot in 2018 but parted ways in 2023. She took a break from the film industry after her marriage. The reason for their divorce was not publicly disclosed.
