After a month of wedding festivities that whizzed by in a jiffy, this couple retreated to The Farm at San Benito, one of the Philippines' premier wellness resorts. Sonakshi and Zaheer's collaborative Instagram post revealed their primary goal, to recover and rejuvenate. "We celebrated one month of our wedding by doing what we needed to do the most - RECOVER!!!" the couple enthusiastically shared.

The newlyweds described their week-long stay as a transformative experience, crediting the resort for teaching them the true meaning of wellness. Their days were filled with nature-immersed activities, proper nutrition, and a variety of detox treatments and massages. "Waking up in the midst of nature, eating right, sleeping on time, detox treatments and massages galore - feeling brand new," they wrote, expressing their newfound appreciation for holistic well-being.

Sonakshi and Zaheer didn't forget to acknowledge the friends who made their "life-changing experience" possible. They extended heartfelt thanks to Nirvana Chaudhary, Rahul Chaudhary, and Varun Chaudhary for arranging the trip. The couple also praised the resort staff, including Dr Jocelyn, Steffi, Cleo, and their "main two" - EJ and Nikka, for their exceptional service.

The actress also recounted special moments from their wedding, including a private moment they shared before heading to their reception.

While their wedding was a joyous occasion, it wasn't without its share of drama. Notably, Sonakshi's brother Luv Sinha was absent from the celebrations, sparking curiosity among fans. In a surprising revelation, Zaheer admitted in an interview with Galatta India that he had initially considered eloping abroad before realising it wouldn't be legally recognised in India.
