Shehnaaz Gill, the Punjabi and now Bollywood actor, turned 29 today, a year younger and a year wiser. The actor took to social media to share glimpses of her midnight birthday celebration with cake cutting and some smashing.
In the video captioned “A year older… Happy Birthday to me! #Blessed #Gratitude”, Shehnaaz is seen cutting multiple cakes and running away from her brother Badesha as he tries to smash some cake on her. Besides her brother, celebrities including actor Varun Sharma, designer Ken Ferns along with Gill’s team were present for her midnight birthday celebration. Fans and other celebrities including Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera, also poured in with wishes all over social media.

Shehnaaz Gill Birth
Born in 1994, Gill was born in a Sikh family in Punjab and did her schooling in Dalhousie. She completed her graduation from Lovely Professional University in Phagwara. She loved acting and singing as a child and always aspired to become an actor.
Shehnaaz Gill Early Career
Nicknamed ‘Punjab Ki Katrina Kaif’, Gill began her career in 2015 by featuring in Shiv Di Kitaab. Later, in 2016, she appeared in Majhe Di Jatti and Pindaan Diyan Kudiyaan until her first big break happened the same year with Garry Sandhu’s music video Yeah Baby Refix.
Following which, Gill also starred in a few Punjabi films including Sat Shri Akaal England in 2017, Kala Shah Kala, and Daaka in 2019. In her career, Gill has appeared in over 150 Punjabi music videos since her debut in 2015.

Shehnaaz Gill Bigg Boss 13
In 2019, Shehnaaz Gill appeared in the 13th season of the Salman Khan-hosted reality television show Bigg Boss. During her journey in the Bigg Boss house, her first single Veham came out followed by some other singles including Sidewalk, Range, and Ronda Ali Peti.
Inside the Bigg Boss house, Gill met with the late actor Sidharth Shukla, who was one of the most loved contestants ever, and fell in love with him. Their cute banter, love, and romance made a fan universe for their couple's goals. But soon Gill had to face an unexpected tragedy when Shukla, who had won Bigg Bigg 13, passed away in 2021 suddenly after suffering a heart attack at the age of 40.
