Ram Charan-Upasana Konidela Announce Second Pregnancy: Know More About Their Heartwarming Love Story

In exciting news for Ram Charan's fans, he and his wife Upasana Konidela are expecting twins, as officially revealed by Upasana's mother, Shobana Kamineni, through a social media post. The family hosted her Semaantham (baby shower) during the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

Shobana Kamineni shared on social media that Diwali came as a delightful double dhamaka as she and Anil are all set to welcome Upasana Kamineni Konidela and Ram Charan's twins next year. "My happiest time of the year got brighter at the thought of 5 grandchildren soon," she added.

Previously, Upasana and Ram Charan made the announcement with a joint post. Sharing it on Instagram, they captioned the post, "This Diwali was all about double the celebration, double the love and double the blessings."

A Glimpse Into Upasana's Baby Shower

In the video, mom-to-be Upasana was dressed in a blue salwar kameez, featuring intricate embroidery and a matching dupatta. She paired the look with elegant earrings and a half-up half-down hairdo. She can be seen getting blessed by her family members who take turns to gift her. Her daughter Klin Kaara and actor-husband Ram Charan were by her side during the rituals.

The video also shows Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha, posting with the to-be mom and dad. They were also joined by Nagarjuna and his family. Upasana's parents were also present at the baby shower.

Netizens congratulate the couple

As soon as the post went live, fans flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages for the power couple.

The duo's colleagues from the industry also posted comments. "Big congratulations and lots of love to mama, papa and biggest congratulations to big sis Kaara," commented actor Kajal Aggarwal.

Filmmaker Guneet Monga also wrote, "Many Many Congratulations and Happy Diwali dear @upasanakaminenikonidela." Meanwhile, Manchu Lakshmi said, "Omg, I'm sooo happy for you both! Wishing you the most beautiful and blissful pregnancy! Can't wait to meet the little one!"

Upasana and Ram Charan's Love Story

Ram charan tied the knot with Upasana Konidela in June 2012. The duo was blessed with a daughter, whom they named Klin Kaara after ten years of their marraige in 2023.

In an interview with Masoom Minawala, Upasana shared her pregnancy details, saying that she conceived naturally despite freezing her eggs. She said that her family encouraged her to go ahead with the egg freezing procedure, and she was elated that they motivated her. "But I had Kaara naturally. It's always wonderful to have that safety net."

Upasana also opened up about her relationship with Ram Charan, calling him a big source of support for her as he takes care of their daughter when she's away for work commitments. She also said that he's a hands-on dad and takes equal responsibility if not more, when she's travelling. Upasana added that when she was at Harvard, Kaara was with Ram Charan the entire time. "He made sure to take her everywhere, ensured she ate well, and by the way, he's an ace dad when it comes to getting her to eat."

On The Workfront

Ram Charan last acted in the political action drama 'Game Changer, alongside Kiara Advani. The film received mediocre reviews despite the anticipation.

Looking ahead, Ram Charan is all set to star in 'Peddi', a sports action drama, which is slated for release in March 2026.
