Released with two other Bollywood releases, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ had a slow start at the box office. The Akshay Kumar starrer comedy-drama had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 40.26%. Screened in 352 shows in Mumbai with an occupancy rate of 45.25% while in Delhi-NCR, the film was screened in 421 shows with an occupancy rate of 50.5%. Compared to the hype created around the film before its release, it didn’t do as strongly at the box office in the beginning. Let’s wait and see how it does for the next few days.

‘Khel Khel Mein’ is an Indian adaptation of the Italian film ‘Perfetti Sconosciuti’ (‘Perfect Strangers’) (2016). The film stars Ammy Virk as ‘Harpreet,’ Taapsee Pannu as ‘Harpreet’ aka ‘Happy,’ Akshay Kumar as ‘Rishabh,’ Vaani Kapoor as ‘Vartika,’ Pragya Jaiswal as ‘Naina,’ Aditya Seal as ‘Samar,’ and Fardeen Khan as ‘Kabir.’ From a big fat fancy wedding to a night of secrets spilt, the film is a true comedy piece. The film was produced by Vipul D Shah, Bhushan Kumar, Ajay Rai, Krishan Kumar, Ashwin Varde, Shashikant Sinha, and Rajesh Bahl.
