Janhvi Kapoor Admits Being Relationship With Shikhar Pahariya On Koffee With Karan 9; Is Wedding On Cards?

Janhvi Kapoor has finally confirmed being in relationship Shikhar Pahariya after the rumours and the two being spotted together. The actress, on Koffee With Karan 9, admitted that she is dating Shikhar and praised him for his good nature when asked by Karan Johar.

What did Janhvi Kapoor say about her relationship?

In the new episode of Koffee With Karan 9, Janhvi Kapoor shared that she does not want to share much about her personal life. "I always thought about why everyone is so cagey about it. Obviously I don't want nazar, and I don't want to be overly explicit about what's happening in my personal life. I just think it's overrated to be like 'let no one ever know'. So it's kind of boring to tiptoe around it, and it's not a big deal," she added.

Are Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya getting married?

When asked about marriage, she said that they do not have plans for a wedding for another two-three years. In the same conversation, Janhvi revealed how Shikhar supported her after her mother, superstar Sridevi, passed away.

She added, "I think he was studying in London; he took like half a semester off. He came to Bombay and he used to stay in town with his dad then, and he moved to his, which I only found out much later, he moved to his friend’s house in Juhu for like a month. Not that I was seeing him every day or anything like that, but later on I just found out that he was like, no, in case she needs me, I just want to be around."

The couple has known each other since their teens and reportedly dated before Janhvi joined the industry. Later, they reconnected and have been each other's support system. Despite largely keeping their relationship private, Shikhar has regularly appeared on Janhvi’s Instagram feed. The couple even visited temples together and have been spotted at events as well.
