Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur

Recently, Imtiaz Ali’s biopic movie on Amar Singh Chamkila premiered on Netflix. The movie tells us about the journey of the singer and his wife Amarjot Kaur were shot during a concert. The couple who were in their 20s were killed for using controversial and obscene lyrics despite constant warnings.

One of the most loved singers of the late 1990s and early 2000s, KK passed away at the age of 53 in May 2022 after a concert. Due to immense suffocation in the concert hall, he had a heart attack. He has sung Bollywood songs like ‘Zara Si’, ‘Tu Hi Meri Shab’, ‘Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai’, and ‘Abhi Abhi’.

Sidhu Moose Wala

The untimely passing of Punjabi pop icon Sidhu Moose Wala left his fans shattered. The 28-year-old singer was shot by unknown assailants during a political conflict in 2022. In 2019, he was listed in the Top 50 Up And Coming Artists Globally by The Guardian. Some of his most loved songs include ‘The Last Ride’, ‘So High’, and ‘295’.

Wajid Khan

Indian music composer brother Wajid Khan of the Sajid-Wajid brother duo passed away at the age of 42 in 2020 due to a kidney infection. Some of his famous songs include ‘Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita’, ‘Soni De Nakhre’, ‘Surili Akhiyon Wale’, and ‘Palat’.

Mohammed Rafi

The evergreen singer Mohammed Rafi died at an early age of 55 years due to a major cardiac arrest. He has made us laugh and cry with songs like ‘Isharo Isharo’, ‘Kya Hua Tera Vada’, ‘Diwana Hua Badal’, and ‘Gulabi Ankhen’.
