But, this is concerning behaviour to violate someone’s modesty. Even if the individual is a public figure, this can be considered stan culture at its worst. Be it at the gym, dinners, dates, parties, visits to clinics or salons, or even shopping for basic essentials, there hardly goes by a day when celebs are not hunted down by paps or swamped with fans. The more the stars are reachable nowadays, the more the fans and paps keep forgetting the thin line between admiration and obsession.
Have you ever wondered how difficult it is for celebrities to have a carefree movement in public spaces?

Kareena Kapoor
In October last year, as Bebo was entering the Mumbai airport, fans as usual mobbed her for selfies amidst which she was almost manhandled by one of them. The fans apparently got so excited that one of them tried to place his arm on Kapoor’s shoulder for a selfie. Though she looked scared by the man’s action, she kept her calm and handled the situation gracefully like celebrities mostly do or are bound to do because otherwise these same fans will criticise them for being ‘rude’. Despite the situation, she did pose for selfies with other fans.
