Diljit Dosanjh Become First Punjabi To Perform At Coachella 2023, Check The Top Moments From The Concert

Making history all the way, singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh performed on the international stage of Coachella 2023 and became the first Punjabi singer to do so. The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is one of the most notable and successful music events in the world which generally takes place in Indio in California in April. Every years musicians and renowned artists and their fans from all around the globe flock to perform and witness on the biggest music festival globally.

Dosanjh, clad in black Tamba (traditional Punjabi way of wearing lungi) and kurta paired with Kundal, turban and a set of yellow gloves, set fire on the stage with his perfect Punjabi munda vibe at the concert on April 16, 2023 for 45 minutes straight. The performance has been doing rounds on the internet ever since and Dosanjh has only been receiving praises from fans and celebrities all over the world.

DJ Diplo Vibes To Diljit Dosanjh’s Performance At Coachella 2023

Several videos of American DJ and music producer, Thomas Wesley Pentz popularly known as DJ Diplo, have been doing rounds on the internet where he is seen dancing and vibing to Dosanjh’s performance of Vari Varsi Khatan Gaya Si and Patiala Peg, among others. Sharing a video of the latter on social media, DJ Diplo wrote, “First Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella and y'all really thought I would miss it?”

Fans are also going gaga over a picture Dosanjh shared on social media where the two are seen sharing chats and laughter behind the stage.

Alia Bhatt To Sonam Kapoor Bollywood Celebrities Praised Diljit Dosanjh

Actor Alia Bhatt, who worked with Diljit Dosanjh on his Bollywood debut Udta Punjab, shared a video of the singer and wrote “EPIC!!!!!” While actor Sonam Kapoor shared a glimpse front he concert and wrote “Insane! The South Korean girl band, BLACKPINK, made history by headline the renowned music festival Coachella 2023 in which Dosanjh had a set of 45 long minutes.
