The drama took a lighter turn recently after Smriti captained the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to a Women's Premier League (WPL) win. A parody page shared a joke saying Smriti batted so fiercely because she imagined Palaash's face on every ball.

Surprisingly, Smriti's mother, Smita Mandhana, shared this exact meme on her own profile. Fans caught the repost right away, calling it 'savage' and having a good laugh at the public dig aimed at her daughter's ex.

The meme incident happened right on the heels of some explosive claims made by Smriti’s friend, Vidnyan Mane. Speaking directly to the Hindustan Times, Vidnyan alleged that Palaash was caught red-handed in a compromising position with another woman right in the middle of the pre-wedding festivities.

According to Vidnyan, the situation escalated into a horrific scene where several Indian female cricketers allegedly beat Palaash up after catching him out. Unsurprisingly, Palaash quickly fired back at these shocking claims. He publicly stated he would pursue serious legal action against these unverified stories.

To make matters worse, the infidelity accusations were not the only thing on Palaash's plate. He was also hit with sudden allegations of committing a major financial fraud worth ₹40 lakh.
