After having a glorious career as an actor and mimicry artist, actor Firoz Khan was pronounced dead on May 23 2024, in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. He experienced a heart attack after which he succumbed to death. As per reports by India TV, the actor had been in Badaun for a few days where he had also performed for the last time during Voter Mahotsav at Badaun Club on May 4, 2024. His cremation and last rites will also be held in the town where he breathed his last.

Firoz Khan was a famous mimicry artist and TV actor. His precise mimicry of Amitabh Bachchan shot him to stardom. He also has a flourishing TV career with famous shows including ‘Jija Ji Chhat Par Hai’, ‘Saheb Bibi Aur Boss’, ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’, and ‘Shaktimaan’. However, his role in ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ was the most appreciated.

The loss of Firzon Khan resulted in his actor friends, colleagues and fans posting or resting to his untimely and sudden demise. Actor Durga Rahikwar, known as Shah Rukh Khan’s doppelganger, expressed his grief by posting a throwback picture with Khan on his Instagram handle. He wrote a heartfelt caption that said, “Aaj hamare beech Firoz Khan bhaijaan (Jr Amitabh Bachchan) nahi rahe. (Firoz Khan is no longer with us).”

Khan’s co-star in ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’, Indian actor Charrul Malik expressed her sorrow in a conversation with Indian Express saying, “It’s very sad news. I met him several times during award shows and on the show. He was a very gentle and down-to-earth person. His comic timing was amazing. He used to be very happy and cheerful. He once asked to make a reel together, but we never got a chance to do that.”
