Amitabh Bachchan Makes Nearly 170% Profit After Selling Mumbai Duplex: His Other Assets, Properties, And More

Bollywood stars are known for leading a luxurious life buying and selling properties. One such actor who caught headlines with his recent sale is megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Reportedly, Big B has sold his duplex apartment in Oshiwara, Mumbai, for Rs 83 crore. The transaction information is backed by the property registration documents. The property is situated in The Atlantis, a residential project by Crystal Group in Oshiwara. It is spread across 1.55 acres, featuring a spacious terrace spanning around 445.93 sqm and 4, 5, and 6 BHK apartments. It also comes with 6 mechanised car parking spaces. The Duplex was purchased by Bachchan for Rs 31 crore in April 2021 before he rented it to actress Kriti Sanon for Rs 10 lakh per month, along with a security deposit of Rs 60 lakh.

Bachchan’s portfolio of real estate is nothing short of remarkable. Besides the Mumbai Duplex, Big B also owns several other luxurious properties including his iconic residence in Juhu, Mumbai, Prateeksha, which is valued at Rs 40 crore. His other prized possessions including Janak, located in the same area, are valued at Rs 50 crore.

Big B co-owns a property in Juhu’s Kapol Housing Society with his son Abhishek Bachchan, worth Rs 45 crore. Other flats in Oberoi Seven in Goregaon, Mumbai, valued at Rs 20 crore and Rs 9.5 crore also add to the actor’s portfolio.

The Ganapath actor also owns property outside of Mumbai including agricultural land in Pawna, and Pune, valued at Rs 1 crore each. His real estate portfolio also boasts a villa in Brignogan Plage, France, worth Rs 2.87 crore. Summing up, Bachchan’s real estate holdings exceed Rs 200 crore, and its prime locations are in Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, and even France.

Big B also has an impressive high-end luxury car collection valued at Rs 20 crore. His fleet of cars includes the world’s most luxurious vehicles, including the Rolls Royce Phantom worth Rs 3 crore, a Mercedes Benz GL 63 AMG valued at Rs 2.12 crore, a Range Rover 4.4D AB LWB valued at Rs 3.76 crore and a Porsche Cayman worth Rs 61 lakh.
