In Bigg Boss 19's latest episode, Akanksha entered the Bigg Boss house through a tunnel with romantic background music playing. Gaurav was at the washroom area during that time, under the freeze command. Akanksha walked straight up to him and embraced him in a hug, and tenderly kissed him on his cheek. Then, Bigg Boss allowed Gaurav to move, and as soon as he was permitted to move, he hugged his wife back, making the audience and housemates go gaga over the celebrity couple.

Akanksha Chamola and Gaurav Khanna's Love Story

Gaurav married actress Akanksha in 2016. However, not many people are aware of their beautiful love story. Here's a glimpse into their relationship.

The couple's first meeting was during an audition. In numerous interview, the 'Anupamaa' actor shared that it was love at first sight for him when he first met Akanksha. He began his first conversation with her by pretending to be a newbie in the industry, with Akanksha giving him tips on acting. Later, Gaurav offered her a lift, and she Googled him, only to realise that he was already an established actor. The duo became close friends after that.

After becoming close friends, Gaurav and Akanksha started dating. After dating for some time, Gaurav proposed to Akanksha with a romantic backdrop, reportedly featuring 100 balloons.

Soon after, the couple got married on November 23, 2016 in Gaurav's hometown, Kanpur. Many of his colleagues from the industry attended the grand celebration, including famous television stars Hussain Kuwajerwala, Tina Kuwajerwala, Puja Banerjee, Anuj Sachdeva, among others.

During Bigg Boss, Gaurav said that he and his wife, Akanksha have an age gap of nine years. Both have been open about this fact and have not faced any difficulties because of this in their relationship. In interviews, Akanksha noted that while she is fun and outgoing, Gaurav is calm and composed, creating the perfect dynamic in their relationship.

In a conversation with YouTuber Mridul Tiwari, Gaurav wished to become a father and that the two would complete nine years of their marriage. However, he mentioned that Akanksha wasn't ready to have kids, even though he loves children. Gaurav said that since theirs is a love marriage, he fully agrees with her decision.

Gaurav further said that he understands Akanksha's views as both of them have busy lives, with parenting responsibilities becoming added stressors. When Mridul said that their perception might change with time, Gaurav replied, "Yes, of course, we will see then. Never say never."
