'A Good Man Who Can Cook': Ramayana Actress Sai Pallavi Reveals What She Wants In Partner On KBC
Ahead of the release of Nitish Tiwari’s much awaited Ramayana: The Epic, Sai Pallavi appeared on the Diwali special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, with her co-stars Ranbir Kapoor, and Ravi Dubey. The episode aired on 28th October 2026 and Sai Pallavi got her candid viral moment talking about the life partner she wants.
What Did Sai Pallavi Say About Her Future Partner?
During the show, host Amitabh Bachchan asked Sai what qualities she would look for in a future husband. The actress, who will be seen as Goddess Sita, gave a simple and thoughtful answer.
"Pehle achche insaan hone chahiye (Firstly, he should be a good man). He should not be very self-centred. He should be someone who is introspective. One who checks on his actions. So someone who has some insight about where he is in life... he can make mistakes but he must mend it too. It should not be that he is blaming it on someone else. It is not that there is a huge list but he should be a good person and it would be better if he also knows how to cook," she said.

She stressed that she doesn’t have a long list of demands. For her, character matters more than anything - kindness, self-awareness and taking accountability for one's actions.
Sai Pallavi’s Journey From Medicine To Acting
In the same episode, Sai Pallavi also talked about her journey from medical studies to acting. When asked about the career switch, she said, “God wrote it that you act.”
Ranbir Kapoor added humorously, “Bhagwan ka prescription tha Sir.”
Ramayana: The Epic, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana and Sunny Deol as Hanuman is set for a worldwide release on November 5, 2026.
