We tested three of their bestsellers — the Glow Shield Day Creme, Glow Revive Night Repair Creme, and the Sunflower Sun Care Cream SPF-60 — to see how they perform in real-world use. Here’s our review.
The packaging for both the day and the night cream was similar – a glass red tub, with a premium feel to it.
The consistency of the product is non-runny, and a bit on the thicker side. A big plus point for the product is that it has added SPF 30, with PA+++, that provide a broad range coverage against UV rays. The Wheatgerm Oil present in the product adds to its moisturising abilities.-1747918767886.jpg)
It left my skin moisturised and supple, and reduced a step in my usual skincare routine. For those looking to shorten their morning skincare routine, this is a good bet, as it combines the goodness of both a moisturiser and a sunscreen in one product. It didn’t leave a whitecast, and got absorbed easily into my combination skin.
For those with oily skin, the product may feel a bit heavy.
The night repair cream has 2% Ceramides & Peptides and Phytosphingosine from soybean. Using it overnight left my skin feeling soft and hydrated in the morning. I used it after the cleansing and toning steps of my skincare routine. It's fragrance-free and did not irritate my skin in any manner. -1747918779940.jpg)
Ceramides help with barrier repair, while the other products help with reducing sagging and wrinkles. The consistency is lightweight and creamy, but it does not feel too heavy on the skin.
The product comes in a bright plastic tube, with sunflowers printed on it.-1747918792386.jpg)
The sunscreen left no whitecast, and was easily absorbed into the skin. It claims protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays, and comes with SPF 60. However, the PA, which stands for Protection Grade of UVA wasn’t specific on the packaging.
It contains natural extracts like Sunflower, Geranium, Wheat Germ, and Liquorice.
Their site (https://ningen.com/) stores all their products. You can also find them on other e-commerce sites like Amazon and Nykaa.
Highlights of Ningen Products: Each of their products comes with added plant-based goodness, which left my skin nourished. I used the products in summer, during a hot and sultry weather, but the products felt lightweight and were easily absorbed into the skin.
