Right Place For Hanging Home Temple
Astrologer Sheetal said, “According to Vastu, the best place to set up a temple in the house is the northeast corner. Apart from this, there is also a belief that the temple should never be kept under the stairs.”
Additionally, the principles of Vastu Shastra say that having aseparate puja room in the houseplaced in the right direction and corner can be extremely beneficial for you. “Never place the temple in the south direction and do not place it anywhere near your bathroom,” said Shaparia.

Can You Hang Home Temple On A Wall?
Astrologer Shaparia mentioned, “Due to less space in modern homes, some people hang the temple of worship on the wall. According to Vastu Shastra, doing this does not have any negative effect on you.However, you also need to decide the right direction of the wall.”
You can hang your home temple on the east wall of your home, as per Vastu, and towards the northeast corner. “Hang the temple on the wall so that while worshipping, your face is towards the east direction. The east direction is associated with the rising sun and Lord Indra and if you pray facing east, you receive good luck and growth. You can also hang the temple on the west wall so that while praying, your face is towards the west,” said Sheetal.
