Sharad Purnima 2024 Puja Vidhi
The astrologer said, “Worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on this day with proper rituals and in a proper manner helps you get rid of financial troubles in your life.” The correct Puja Vidhi for Sharad Purnima begins with purifying the place of worship by sprinkling Ganga water. Then, take the Kalash with grains, curd, honey, coins, Mauli, mango leaf, and coconut in it. Fill the Kalash with Gangajal and keep it on the side of the idol or picture of Maa Lakshmi.
Make sure that you have installed the idol on clean seating. Light a Ghee lamp and offer it to Goddess Lakshmi. Then, offer flowers, rice, Roli, sandalwood, etc., and then, Kheer, fruits and sweets to her. Chant Goddess Lakshmi’s Mantras like “Om Shri Mahalakshmyai Namah” and “Om Aim Shreem Cleem Mahalakshmyai Namah.” After that, offer Arghya to the Moon God at night and after offering Kheer to Maa Lakshmi, keep it under the moonlight and consume it as Prasad the next morning. Also, after you are done with the rituals, perform Lakshmi Ji’s Aarti.
