Before plucking the Tulsi leaves, you must bathe yourself first, meditate, and worship the almighty. Then, pay respect to the Tulsi plant and pluck 21 leaves. This will prevent you from facing any kind of defect, and bring happiness and prosperity in your life.

Mantras To Chant Before Plucking Tulsi Leaves 

• As you offer water to the Tulsi plant, you must chant this Mantra 21 times: ‘Om-Om.’
• While you pluck its leaves, you should chant this mantra 11 times: ‘Om Subhadraya Namah, Matastulasi Govind Hridayananda Karini, Narayanasya Pujaartham Chinomi Twaam Namostute.’
• To attract success in your life, you should chant this Mantra: ‘Mahaprasadjanani, Sarva Saubhagyavardhini, Aadhi Vyaadhi Hara Nityam, Tulsi Twam Namostute.’
