Friday, December 6, 2024 - Vivah Panchami Puja Shubh Muhurat
The festival of Vivah Panchami is celebrated on the Vivah Tithi of Shri Ram and Mata Sita. The followers of Lord Ram organise special prayers and festivals in different temples on this day. It is considered an auspicious day to get married. This year the shubh muhurat for Vivah Panchami will begin at 6:30 am and end at 5:45 pm on Friday, December 6, 2024.
Wednesday, December 11, 2024 - Mokshada Ekadashi, Geeta Jayanti, and Guruvayur
The legend says that whoever observes a fast on the day of Mokshada Ekadashi with full devotion and proper rituals, gets freedom from all his sins. Geeta Jayanti will also be celebrated on December 11 this year,commemorating the day when Lord Krishna preached theBhagavad Gita to Arjun. Many devotees keep fast and chant the mantras of God on this day. The auspicious time for puja will be from 6-7 am, 12-1 pm, and 4:30-5:30 pm.
Sunday, December 15, 2024 - Annapurna Jayanti Shubh Muhurat
Celebrating the birth anniversary of Maa Annapurna, Annapurna Jayanti is considered one of the most revered occasions in the Hindu religion. You are advised to worship food and offer Bhog to Brahmins on this day to attract prosperity and abundance in your home. This year, the shubh muhurat for this will remain from 7-9 am, 12-1 pm, and 5-6 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
