Step 1
Wash your hands and get into a comfortable position. You can squat one leg up, or sit on the toilet seat with your knees apart.
Step 2
Push the tampon inside your vagina using an applicator or your finger, depending on what kind of tampon you have.
Step 3
Throw the applicator and wrapper in the trash. Do not flush them.
Step 4
Keep changing the tampon every 4-8 hours. Don’t let your tampon in for more than 8 hours.
Step 5
To remove the tampon, you can gently pull the string attached to the end of tampon. It is easier to remove tampon this way as it’s wet from absorbing the max amount of flow.
Step 6
Wrap used tampons in a toilet paper and throw them in a trash. Do not flush them.
