Plot Of ‘Salaar’

Taking place in the vibrant city of Khansaar, the narrative unfolds around Raja Mannaar's desire to appoint his son, Vardharaja Mannaar, as his successor. Despite the Raja's intentions, discontent brews among his ministers and advisors, prompting them to orchestrate a sinister plot to eliminate the father-son duo. To execute their plan, they enlist armies from Russia and Serbia. However, Vardharaja manages to escape the perilous situation and seeks refuge with his childhood best friend, Deva. Moved by Vardharaja's plight, Deva embarks on a mission to ensure Vardharaja's unquestionable ascension as the rightful heir to the throne of Khansaar.

In the film, Prabhas takes on the character of Deva, also known as ‘Salaar,’ while Prithviraj Sukumaran assumes the role of Vardharaja, affectionately referred to as ‘Vardha’ Mannar. Shruti Hassan plays the character Aadhya, and Jagapathi Babu portrays the role of Raja Mannar.
