Bigg Boss 19: Rohit Shetty Slams Amaal Mallik And Shehbaz Badeshah Over 'Biased' Claims On The Show; Challenges Them To Quit

The latest Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, hosted by Rohit Shetty, saw the action director take a firm stand against the housemates' simmering and disruptive claims of the show being "biased." Shetty directly confronted Amaal Mallik and Shehbaz Badeshah over their repeated accusations, leaving no room for excuses or justifications.

Rohit Shetty Exposes The ‘Biased’ Contradiction

Rohit Shetty began the sharp confrontation by highlighting a massive contradiction that has defined the season's recent narrative. "It's funny," he remarked, setting the tone. "Outside, the audience says we're biased towards Amaal, and inside, Amaal is the one saying Bigg Boss is biased." The host then addressed Gaurav, who had reinforced the narrative inside the house by stating, "People from our group are being eliminated." Rohit immediately shut down this victim narrative, demanding a straightforward discussion on the facts.

Shehbaz's Voting Logic: Exposed

Shetty then moved to Shehbaz, tackling the common housemate perception that eliminations were rigged.

Rohit asked Shehbaz to compare his following to a recently eliminated contestant, Mridul. When Shehbaz admitted Mridul had a bigger following, Rohit pressed the point: "Then tell me, if Colours, Endemol, and Bigg Boss had to eliminate someone so that they don't get backlash, who would they eliminate? You or Mridul?"

Shehbaz was forced to reply "Mridul," effectively dismantling the very biased-elimination argument he and his group had been pushing all week.

Captaincy Claims And The ‘App Room’ Access

The spotlight shifted back to Amaal regarding his public comments on the captaincy task and the supposed lack of ‘App Room’ access for Shehbaz.

When Rohit asked Amaal if Shehbaz would have chosen captaincy had he been given Gaurav's options, Amaal agreed, but tried to pivot. ‘Captaincy wasn't the problem,’ Amaal argued, ‘the issue was that Shehbaz had no access to the app room.’

Rohit immediately cut through this weak reasoning: "Was that ever announced by Bigg Boss? Was it ever a rule?" The contradiction was exposed: Amaal was complaining about a "rule" that never existed.

Rohit Shetty Said, ‘Salman Has Literally Texted Me to Open the Door’

The conversation escalated sharply as Rohit addressed Amaal's continuous threats to quit the show, a tactic he uses to express frustration.

‘You keep saying, 'Remove me from the show.' Now and then you make this statement,’ Rohit stressed. ‘And outside this looks like we're biased... we have nothing to gain!’ He pointed out the irony that Amaal's popularity was actually increasing because of the show, yet he continued to take it for granted.

When Amaal tried to apologise, citing a ‘heat of the moment’ reaction, Rohit firmly countered: ‘If everything is 'heat of the moment,' then Farhana can also get the same benefit of the doubt you are asking for.’

Finally, Rohit turned back to Shehbaz and his ‘kasam’ to leave the show. The host delivered the ultimate reality check: ‘Salman has literally texted me to remove you, to open the door. Should we open the door for you?’ The message was unmistakable; no one was forcing them to stay, and ‘bias’ was not an acceptable excuse for their frustration.

The segment closed with Rohit making it clear that the entire house was guilty of weaponising the ‘bias’ card whenever a situation didn't suit them, emphasising that their internal narratives were far removed from the truth seen by the audience.
