Thamma Box Office Collection Day 11: Ayushmann-Rashmika's Horror Comedy Remains Steady, Collects ₹108 Crore

Thamma Box Office Collection Day 11: Aditya Sarpotdar's directorial, Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, was released in theatres on Diwali. The fifth movie in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe has seen significant earnings, accumulating over ₹108 crore net in India alone by its tenth day.

Thamma Box Office Performance

The film started with a massive opening of ₹24 crore (net), swiftly collecting ₹55.6 crore in just three days, and crossing ₹95.6 crore by the end of its first week (Day 7).

In its second week, the movie continued its solid run, earning ₹5.75 crore on Day 8 (2nd Tuesday), though it saw a slight dip to ₹3.65 crore on Day 9 (2nd Wednesday).

Based on initial estimates of ₹0.06 crore for Day 11 (2nd Friday), the film's total India net earnings now stand at approximately ₹108.45 crore. This strong performance has cemented its status as a major success, surpassing all other films in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe except the record-breaking Stree 2 (which earned ₹597.99 crore).

Ayushmann Khurrana on the Film's Success

Talking about the success of Thamma to ANI, Ayushmann Khurrana expressed his delight, stating that validation from the public is the greatest validation. He noted that the film achieved his biggest opening ever, and he hopes it will become his biggest film overall. "As an actor, I found the script exciting. Whatever is happening now is like a cherry on the top," he added.

He also shared a brief update on the franchise's future, expressing excitement to see how different characters from the universe will merge and clash in upcoming films like Bhediya 2.
