Sholay Deleted Climax Scene

The original climax of this scene was removed as the Central Board of Film Certification objected to its depiction of violence. They believed that this biolnece could further influence the public as it was released during the Emergency. This deleted climax scene shows Thakur (Sanjeev Kumar) killing Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) with spiked shoes, but was replaced in 1975 with a milder resolution
