Mohit Suri's directorial ‘Saiyaara’ continues its impressive box office run as it enters its second week. The film starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda has defied industry expectations and outperformed several big-budget productions featuring established stars.
The film experienced its first minor setback on day seven, collecting Rs 18.75 crore net according to industry tracker Sacnilk. This marks the first time since release that ‘Saiyaara’ earned less than Rs 20 crore in a single day. However, the numbers remain encouraging and suggest another strong weekend ahead.
The total domestic net collection now stands at Rs 172.5 crore after seven days. What makes this achievement remarkable is that ‘Saiyaara's’ lowest-earning day still doubles or triples the average collections of recent releases like ‘Kesari 2’ and ‘Metro In Dino.’
The film maintained consistent audience interest with an average occupancy rate of 31.43% across all shows. Morning screenings started with 19.74% occupancy, which improved to 33.08% during afternoon shows. Evening performances continued the upward trend with 32.81% occupancy, while night shows proved most successful at 40.08%.
As per the Sacnilk report, here's the detailed day-wise performance:

‘Saiyaara’ has already crossed the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan's ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ (Rs 164.74 crore) and is closing in on Ajay Devgn's ‘Raid 2’ (Rs 179.3 crore). The film is expected to surpass this milestone within the next day. The next target is the multi-starrer ‘Housefull 5’, which collected Rs 198.41 crore.
With minimal competition ahead, ‘Saiyaara’ enjoys an open theatrical run. ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ is unlikely to significantly impact its collections, and with ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ postponing its release to August 1, 2025, the path remains clear.
