The Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’ movie’s creators had earlier launched a poster with a release date in June 2024. However, the theatrical release date has been postponed to July 12, 2024. ‘Indian 2’ has been directed by S Shankar, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah’s Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies by Udhayanidhi Stalin.
The action thriller patriotic movie will feature the story of a former freedom fighter, Senapathy, who turns into a vigilante to take a stand against corruption in Indian society. Senpathy returns to the country to end corrupt politicians with the assistance of a young man who posts videos exposing them.
‘Indian 2’ will pick up from where the sequel ended. Directed by S Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan, Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar and Kasthuri Shankar, ‘Indian’ had an open ending leaving a gap for another instalment to arrive.
